| Gramy's car this morning was broken into and her purse stolen. She went on her normal every morning hike in the La Quinta cove... I guess while she was on her hike it was broken into. I don't know HOW it was broken into, but yeah. So her purse of course had her wallet in it with all her credit cards and cash (i don't know how much) and her check book. Oh and a $50 gift certificate i know of to Starbucks. Anyway, so my dad this morning went out to Indio to her place to help her out in calling places and making a list of what was stolen, etc. I guess she wasn't doing really well before this happened either because on Christmas Eve she told us she wasn't feeling well all day and that she guessed she just needed to eat something. Also later she told us that she still really misses Papa (her husband, my dad's dad, that was killed about 7 years ago or so.) Anyway, so in addition to that, she has to deal with this theft thing... so i guess she really wasn't doing too well. She was just wanting to lay in bed or whatever. My dad didn't think it was a real good idea so he was trying to have her do things and be with him or my parents or us... Anyway, right now my parents are with her at the movies. *sigh* Yeah.
My mom told me that it's not just me that is all stressed out, she says right now our whole family has a lot more stress than we are used to... I think she was saying that it's not JUST my fault my dad and I get into problems (aka arguements...). *sigh* So yeah. Rough...

| MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
I hope everyone is having a good Christmas day today. It's 7:14 here in good old Palm Desert, California and I've been up an hour because I couldn't sleep. It's not because I'm extremely excited or anything. (Because, I'm not, really, I'm not since I know like 4 things my parents are getting me: sunglasses, more contacts, hair stuff i use every day, and they paid for my yearbook. I use most of these things everyday, so yes, i'll be very thankful for them, but it's just not much of a surprise!) Anyway, I'm up, and I'm going to walk Champ this morning. Yup... Anyway, as everyone knows, today is Christmas Eve.

I asked my dad earlier "Can you believe it's Christmas Eve?"
He said, "Yeah, I can."
I said "I don't think it feels like it."
He asked "What is it supposed to feel like?"
I said, "I don't know, it doesn't feel like it though."
It's beginning to feel more like it... Just starting to get a little excited. A little.
My mommy is baking for tomorrow morning and pies for dessert tomorrow night at Gramy's house. (We're going to Gramy's for dinner tomorrow night. She really wanted to do it.) Tomorrow morning Gramy's coming over. I don't even know what time. Hmmm... *Yells to mom* "Mom! What time is Gramy coming in the morning?" Mom: "Don't know." That was extremely helpful! Haha! Yeah...
Oh I was glad to learn that Carrie got the package with her and Em's Christmas present in it! Yey! Perfect timing, seriously. A-mazing. (Yes, that's how you say it. a-mazing. A Serena taught thing. Hehe. Like "Yeah ________!" You fill in the blank. like "Yeah Christmas!" Etc. She has so many fun things she says. Ek yes.) Carrie said she really liked it so I was really glad. =-)
I didn't get to talk to David. Sadly... I feel like we keep trying to have a conversation and something interupts. Oh well. I'll live.
Tonight I think I've already told you about but I'll tell you again. (Muahhaha.) We have a 5:45 reservation at "The DH" (as my dad calls Desert Horizens, the club that Gramy belongs to still even though she doesn't live there anymore.) Who will be there: Dad, Mom, Tyler, Gramy and her friend Uta that was at Thanksgiving with us and we did this same exact Christmas Eve thing LAST year. (She gave me that awe-some Starbucks gift card, remember?) Anyway, it should be interesting as usual. I have to figure out what to wear since Uta has seen all my "nice" clothing... *sigh* Oh well. That's all. Oh and I told my mommy tonight we should sit down and read some of our Christmas books. (It used to be a tradition for my mom to get us a new Christmas book every year.) Oh and of course Tyler and I will open our ornaments. (That's a tradition that every year on Christmas Eve we each get an ornament. It's recently in the past couple years had something to do with the last year.)
Oh it was funny, yesterday when we were going to the movie I had to sit in the back of Gramy's car and there was something that had this big blanket on top of it. Gramy said "That's your brother's Christmas present..." I peeked and it's an electric guitar! HE REALLY WANTED THAT. So I'm very happy for him... I've been able to keep a secret too, aren't you oh-so-proud? hehe.
